This website, morenositaliano.com, is run by Chef Moreno Benigno for Moreno's Italiano and Chef Moreno restaurant consulting and training, Mahayahay, Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. We respect your privacy and follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
1. What we collect
- Inquiry form: your name, WhatsApp/mobile number, email, city, the stage of your business, the program you're interested in and your message.
- Health Check call request (Restaurant Launch Blueprint page): your name, WhatsApp/mobile number, email, city and the stage of your business.
- Calculator and quiz results: if you ask us to send you your results, your name, WhatsApp number, optional email, the stage of your business and the numbers or answers you entered.
- Facebook and Instagram lead forms: if you sign up through one of our ads, Meta shares with us the details you submit in the form, such as your name, phone number and email.
- Birthday Club: your name, WhatsApp number, birthday (day and month, no year) and optional email, only if you join and give consent.
- WhatsApp and Messenger: if you message us, we receive your name, number and what you write.
- Website visits: through cookies (see below) we learn which pages were visited, how you found the site (for example Facebook, Google or WhatsApp) and how many times you've visited. This does not include your name unless you send the form.
2. Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare a proposal.
- To arrange your Health Check call and follow up by WhatsApp, email or text message about it.
- To reply to you on WhatsApp about the calculator or quiz results you asked us to send.
- To deliver the consulting, training or reservation you asked for.
- For Birthday Club members: to send your birthday treat and occasional restaurant news on WhatsApp. You can leave anytime by replying STOP.
- To understand which posts and ads bring visitors, so we can improve them.
- To show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited this website.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not send newsletters unless you ask for them.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files saved by your browser. This website uses:

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The website will still work normally. You can also manage how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook settings under "Ad preferences".
4. Who we share it with
- Netlify (website hosting) receives and stores form submissions.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) receives website visit data through the Meta Pixel, and your messages if you contact us on WhatsApp or Messenger.
- Google (Gmail) is where form notifications are delivered.
- Microsoft (Clarity) records anonymous website usage such as clicks and scrolling.
These providers may store data outside the Philippines. We share only what's needed for the purposes above, and never sell it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as needed to reply and, if you become a client, for the duration of our work together plus the period required for business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to its use, to ask for it to be deleted or blocked, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
