Guests drive in from Cebu City, Mandaue, Talisay and Consolacion for one thing you won't find elsewhere: our dark, Charfused pizza.
What makes Moreno's different
Every pizza dough at Moreno's is made with activated vegetable charcoal. We call it Charfused: a dark, crisp crust with a light, airy center. The idea was born after Typhoon Odette destroyed Chef Moreno Benigno's previous restaurant in 2021. He rebuilt from a take-out kitchen into the 30-chair restaurant you see today, and the dark crust became the symbol of that comeback.
What to order
Pizza
Start with the Charfused Margherita (₱650) to taste the dough on its own, or go for the Tartufo e Burrata e Speck with truffle, burrata and speck. Other favorites include the 4 Formaggi, Diavola and Salumi.
Pasta
Our Carbonara and Bolognese are classics (₱720), the Penne Formaggi e Tartufo is rich and creamy, and when it's on the specials board, don't miss the Spaghetti Nero with squid ink.
Antipasti
Share the Moreno's Antipasti board, the Carpaccio Manzo or the Crudo di Tonno before your pizza.
Steak
For a special night, reserve the 500g Ribeye or 1kg Porterhouse with Italian wine.
Aperitivo hour: L'Ora Dorata
Monday to Thursday, 3 to 5 PM, enjoy Italian aperitivo: Gnocco Fritto, Pizza Croccante or a Deep Fried Calzone, each with an Aperol Spritz, from ₱780.
